Engelberg
Powder snow! Engelberg is considered to be one of the best freeride destinations in the Swiss Alps. Skiruns such as Laub, Steinberg or Galtiberg are nowhere else to be found. Our local guides take you on an unforgettable 2000m-downhill ride in waist-deep champagne-powder. If you're prepared to take short ascents (max. 1h), you'll be able to ride a great variety of virgin slopes.
Equipment: Freeride skis, poss. tour-bindings with skins, avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel, backpack (Equipment can be rent on the spot)

Andermatt
Within one hour's drive from Engelberg, you'll find another "freeride-mecca" - Andermatt. The steep northern slopes lead down to the 1500 meter lower Urseren-valley. Skins and touring bindings are essential, since the best rides must be deserved.
